Wholesale orders, ready for QuickBooks
Match your products and customers once. Crate sends wholesale invoices to QuickBooks Online and brings invoice and payment updates back to the order.
Demonstrated with the Vivo Coffee demo workspace.
- Review product and customer matches
- Choose how tax is handled
- Linked invoices and incoming payment updates
How it works
A clear path from
start to done.
Connect your wholesale orders to the books you already use.
Connect your QuickBooks company
Choose QuickBooks Online in Integrations and authorize the company you want to use for invoicing.
Match products and customers
Review the proposed matches against your QuickBooks records. Choose existing records, or create a customer on the first invoice push.
Set the rules before you send
Review tax handling and finish setup so invoice sync starts with your choices in place.
Follow the invoice from the order
Open the linked QuickBooks invoice from the wholesale order. Invoice and payment updates return to Crate so your team can see what is still owed.

Questions about quickbooks
Does this work with QuickBooks Desktop?
This integration connects to QuickBooks Online. It does not connect to QuickBooks Desktop.
Will Crate create another invoice in Square or Shopify?
You choose which system creates invoices. When QuickBooks Online owns invoicing, Crate sends the invoice there rather than also creating a commerce-platform invoice.
What happens when a customer pays in QuickBooks?
Updates to the linked QuickBooks invoice are brought back into Crate, including payment status. Crate does not write its own payment records into QuickBooks through this integration.
