Is the cafe app available on iOS and Android?
Yes. Customers can use your branded app on iOS and Android, with pickup, delivery, shipping and built-in loyalty.
How is this different from the wholesale portal?
Crate Wholesale lets businesses sell to wholesale customers through a login-based customer portal with custom prices. Cafe ordering gives your customers a branded app to order coffee and earn rewards. You can use either product on its own.
Does the cafe app work with Square, Clover and Shopify?
Yes. Connect your Square, Clover or Shopify catalog to your branded cafe app. Offer pickup, delivery and shipping, with built-in loyalty. Available payment methods and gift-card features vary by provider.
What about App Store deployment? Do I need to manage that?
We handle App Store submission, signing, and updates. You provide the brand assets (logo, palette, item photos) and we ship the build. Ongoing updates flow through us, not you.
How long does it take to launch?
You will receive a testable mobile app draft within 14 business days of subscribing. After you approve the draft, production App Store review timing is controlled by Apple.
What does it cost?
Cafe ordering is $80 per month, including ordering and built-in loyalty. There is no Crate per-order fee or revenue share. Payment processing, postage and app-store account costs are separate. You do not need a Retail subscription.
